Asana is a project management system and can be used for teams. I use it to keep track of all projects—from client work, to blog content to business development. You can also assign tasks, like content editing, to team members. I LOVE this program.

I switched over to Dubsado late last year and have really liked it so far! It offers so much customization you can really build it to fit your business needs. The client-facing portion is also fantastic. They offer a free trial up to 3 clients.

Squarespace is the best platform for creating websites, IMO. I've tried others like Weebly & Wix, but SS has the most capabilities of any. It's clean & simple with a great user-friendly interface. Perfect for anyone from average Joe to website designers.

Convertkit is an email marketing tool. I tried MailChimp, but was so overwhelmed by its complexity, and terrible interface, that I switched to CK and LOVE it! It's designed really well, and makes creating campaigns, courses, and broadcasts so simple.

The base cost is $29 per month.

G Suite

I use G Suite for managing emails, organizing client assignments, client file sharing, writing & editing blog posts, and more. It can be accessed from any device (i.e. iPhone) from anywhere with the offline access capability.

Planoly is a scheduling app for Instagram. I love it. It allows you to see how all your posts will look together in the grid, schedule posts with captions for a later date, and it now has an auto-post feature. Also, Planoly allows you to create hashtag groups so you don't have to type in 37 new hashtags each time you post. It's fabulous and affordable.

Their solo plan is just $9/mo.

For designers, there's no other option. I literally couldn't do what I do without the Adobe suite. InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Lightroom are the programs I use every single day.
