This client wanted a vintage, patriotic piece. When they presented the idea of "blueprint" I knew this would be a fun project. I came up with the idea of a deconstructed flag drawn up as a blueprint. I created this flag from scratch and spent a lot of time tweaking every little element in Adobe Illustrator. I added subtle grid lines in the background to hint at the blueprint theme, using text outlines as an abstract connection to line drawings.
